CUSCO 6 DAYS 5 NIGHTS
Day 01: Cusco
Reception and transfer to the chosen hotel. In the evening it visits guided the city and ruins near the Cusco, the Cathedral; Temple of the Sun Koricancha, on whose bases the Temple of Santo Domingo was constructed; it visits the Archaeological Sets of Sacsayhuaman, Q’enqo, Pucapucara. Return and transfer to the hotel.
Day 02: Sacred Valley of the Incas
Market of Pisac and Ollantaytambo Breakfast in the hotel In the morning visits the Valley furrowed by the river Vilcanota or Urubamba, where we will observe the beautiful nature of the place, indigenous artisan Fairs of Corao and Pisac, the towns of Pisac and Urubamba. After enjoying a delicious lunch we will visit the Archaeological Set of Ollantaytambo that next to their population maintains the structure original of the city Inca, return to the Cusco. (regular Exits: Tuesday, Thursday and Sundays).
Day 03: Cusco – MachuPicchu – Cusco
Breakfast in the hotel To decided hour we will initiate our visit to the more important Archaeological Set of the country, “Machu Picchu”, ciudadela Inca located to 113 km of the city of the Cusco by railroad. In the morning transfer to the passenger from its hotel to the train station, after 3 1/2 hours of trip we will arrive at our destiny, where we will approach tourism buses that in 20 minutes transported to us until the archaeological park, we will have the sufficient time so that our guide shows all the natural, archaeological and cultural beauty to us of a unique place and without equal in his sort. After the visit we will have lunch in the Hot Water town: Return to the Cusco city and transfer to the hotel.
Day 04: Maras – Moray
Breakfast in the hotel, we will pick you up and head to the archaeological site of Moray, a unique archaeological site in the Cusco region. Made up of gigantic holes or depressions in the ground, this place was used by they Incas by building agricultural terraces in it’s’ contours, each with it’s respective irrigation canals. Continuing on to Maras, we will pass through the amazing aqueducts and the famous salt mines.
Return to the Cusco city and transfer to the hotel.
Day 05: South Valley
Pick up from hotel, guided tour (04) Four important places, start with the “Sistine Chapel of America”, (Named for the notorious art and frescoes found) Andahuaylillas Church, located in the Town of the same name, located about 40 km (25 miles) east of the city of Cusco at an altitude of 3100 mts. (10170 feet).
A walk through the main square which is adorned with “pisonay” (coral trees) and palm trees. We continue our journey towards the Archaeological complex of Tipon located to the east of the city of Cusco, covering a territory of approximately 2200 hectares.
There are also a large growing space that contains 12 impressive terraces that are currently cultivated , whose walls were built with well carved . Even more impressive is the irrigation system that is still serving agriculture and the advantage is the water intake in the spring season . To finish the tour visit to Pikillacta Archaeological Complex which covers an area of 3421 hectares ( 8453 acres ) and is located in the province of Quispicanchis , to the east of the city of Cusco about 32 km ( 20 miles ) Pikillaqta prehispanic site is located at 3350 mts. (11000 feet) and belonged to a city of Ayacucho Wari developed today.
Return to the Cusco city and transfer to the hotel.
Day 06: Return
Breakfast in the hotel, Transfer to the airport.
